Mitigating Software Maintenance Project Risks with Stepwise Regression Analysis Techniques

The aim of this paper is to present new statistical techniques -namely, the stepwise multiple regression analysis techniques and Durbin Watson techniques to reduce software maintenance risks in a software projects. Also ten top software maintenance risk factors were mitigated by using risk management techniques in Table 24 . The study has been conducted on a group of software project managers. The success of software project risk management will greatly improve the probability of software project success.
