The objective of this study is to determine students' level of acquisitions on ecology issues in terms of various variables in the 5th, 6th and 7th grades Social Studies Course. In the study carried out by the survey model of quantitative research method, an academic achievement test developed by the researcher was used to collect data. In terms of variables, it is observed that there are statistically significant differences between girls and boys, between students whose mother and father graduated from high school and all other students and between students living in the city center and those living in rural areas. Moreover, it is determined that there is a significant difference between students whose fathers graduated from primary or secondary school and students whose fathers are just literate, not graduated from any school. It is also determined that there is a difference between students with family income 1501 TL or over and students with family income 0-950 TL.
