We studied sixteen patients (12 males and 4 females) who underwent percutaneous electrical denervation of the lumbar posterior medial branch. The mean age of patients was 54.3 years (range: 25 to 76). The mean duration of follow-up was 1.3 years. Following the denervation, 14 patients showed an increase in their JOA score and 2 patients showed no score change.
