In article the analysis of the problems arising at approximation of the electrotechnical steel magnetization curves for electric machines is given. Comparison of existing methods is resulted and the choice of advanced spline approximation is proved. The approximating expression connecting a magnetic linkage, a current of magnetization and a turn rotor angle of the electric machine is received.
