Trends and opportunities for the radioactive waste disposal in the Earth crust This paper deals with the problems of designing and realization of permanent disposal sites for nuclear wastes. It points out the possibilities of the development of new and modern technologies of drilling, mining, or driving of underground works. The paper is primarily aimed at the cuttingof the period of storage building, the reaching of larger depths, the reduction of territory of storage area as well as the increase of its safety.
