From the present study, it was observed that the Seinhorst method is better for extracting both lighter and heavier cysts nematodes even though it needs more expensive equipments and much expert to run as compared to stirring method. Automotive Zonal Centrifugation (AZC) method was found more efficient and rapid technique than Cobb's method in extracting mobile and non mobile nematodes from soil. Baermann funnel is suitable for the extraction of the mobile nematodes and found not to be suitable to explore for quantitative research.
