Artikel ini akan membandingkan unsur pembangun cerita pendek dan filem pendek "Pulang Tanpa Alamat" yang ditulis oleh Abidah El Khalieqy dan film pendeknya disutradarai oleh Riyanto Tan Ageraha. Cerita pendek terbit pada 2010 di Jawa Pos sedangkan versi film pendek rilis pada 2015. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. The short story was published in "Jawa Pos" in 2010, while the short film version was released in 2015. The method used descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used library research, listening, and note-taking techniques. The results show that in the film, the character Remo is wiser than in the short story; the number of Gotap and Segap's old friends in the short story is four, while in the short film there is only one; there is an additional scene outside the text in the short story, that is, the burial of Remo; the setting of the place in the short story and the short film has similarities; the time setting has a difference, in the short story it occurs at night and in the morning, while in the film it occurs at night.Keywords: comparison; short story; short film
