Expert systems are used in various activities with the main goal of decision-making in intelligent and transparent way. In business decision-making, such systems are directed to pure operational and economical decisions. In environmental protection they have to accept the specificity of business sector for which they have been intended, but also use environmental reasons and evaluate them differently than economic.
