The effect of emotional intelligence on entrepreneurial success (a case study of the owners of factories of Golestan industrial partners)

This study aimed to investigate the effect of emotional intelligence and its components on tendency to entrepreneurial among owners of the working factories in industrial estates of Golestan and Esfahan. The study was applied research and statistical sample of the study included successful entrepreneurs living in industrial estates of these two provinces in 2011. ... udy that was estimated to be 160 participants. Instrument of the study was Shering's emotional intelligence questionnaire. Robbins and Caltar's questionnaire was used to measure entrepreneurship. Five point Likert scale was used to respond the questionnaire items. Reliability of the questionnaires was measured by Cronbach's alpha coefficient. SPSS and "Visual" software were employed to analyze data. Results showed that all factors of emotional intelligence both directly and indirectly affect the success and tendency of entrepreneurial in Gorgan and Esfahan's entrepreneurs.
