Wb have been developing an electrohydraulic ventricular assist device(EVAD)for small patients,such as women and children.In order to develop the small and flat ventricular assist device implanted in a patient's abdomen,a flat electrohydraulic actuator which consists of a disk type motor and an oil pump was developed.The thickness of a developed motor is28.5mm.The motor could generate a torque of0.08Nm with an excitation current of1A. Maximum speed and efficency are2600rpm and77%,respectively
