Glaucoma Detection Using Optic Cup and Optic Disc Segmentation

Glaucoma is a chronic eye disease. In Glaucoma the optic nerve head is progressively damaged. It is very important to detect Glaucoma disease in time, because it can be cured and it leads to permanent vision loss. In this paper, optic cup and optic disc segmentation is used for assessment of optic nerve head. Segmentation is based on superpixel classification.
