In this paper the analysis of the shape of the sorption isotherm curves of different materials that were carried out from the result of measurement is presented. The investigation of the behaviour of the construction and building materials against water and humidity is highly important from the point of view of thermal sizing of the buildings. Since the sorped amount of water can cause changes in the good physical properties of the materials. As a result, foamed concrete, mineral wool, extruded

After drying the samples in a Venticell 111 type drying equipment they were treated with a Climacell 111 type climate chamber, where the relative humidity (RH) was varied from 25 to 95 at 293 K for 240 minutes. The reached sorption isotherms were compared to the available Hungarian standard.
