Background. Nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) may alter blood pressure through their inhibitory effects on prostaglandin biosynthesis. Such potential hypertensive effects of NSAIDs have not been adequately examined in the elderly, who are the largest group of NSAID users. Methods.
