Numerical Simulation of Heat and Mass Transfer in the Evaporation of Glycols Liquid Film along an Insulated Vertical Channel

A numerical study is reported to investigate the evaporation in mixed convection of a pure glycol liquid film such as ethylene and propylene glycol. The model solves the coupled governing equations in both phases together with the boundary and interfacial conditions. The systems of equations obtained by using an implicit finite difference method are solved by TDMA method. The influence of inlet temperature of liquid film and inlet pressure in the gas flow are examined. The results indicate that

Additionally, In the operating system, the heat transfer by sensible mode is more important than latent mode. A vast amount of works relating to water have been conducted by many authors.
