A new printed ultra-wide band (UWB) antenna system is proposed for MIMO applications. The proposed antenna system consists of two identical circular disc monopole elements etched on a single FR4 substrate with a compact size of 93 × 47 × 1.6 mm 3 and is fed by a 50-Ω microstrip line. The proposed antenna can operates over UWB range from 3.1 to 10.6 GHz.
