The need to improve the safety of nuclear reactor containment has revealed the need for data on the thermomechanical behaviour of concrete in the event of an accident during which concrete is exposed to high temperatures. This work aims to study the influence of high temperatures on the behaviour of ordinary concrete specimens charged by a compression force. A thermal model is developed by a volumetric discretization (CASTEM). The results of various simulations, combined with other findings,
