The development of science and technology increases people's exposure to large amounts of information and data. Information determines the mode of operation and output of the brain; consciousness is a product of the brain. Meanwhile, as a process of understanding and comprehension, consciousness serves as the basis for the formation of identity. So in a way, information can determine people's idea of identity.
