RESUME La population piscicole du Canal de ROUBAIX a été inventoriée par pêche électrique. Trois passages, suivis chacun de l'enlèvement des poissons capturés, ont été opérés dans chacun des trois Secteurs d'inventaire. Le peuplement le plus probable ainsi estimé (par la méthode De Lury), est en rapport avec le degré de pollution du canal. ABSTRACT The stock of fishes was estimated by electrofishing in the ROUBAIX Canal. Three successive catchoperations with the removing of the catched fishes was executed in each of the three Sections of the stocktacking. The most probable stock, so estimated by De Lury method, is in connection with the degree of pollution in the canal. The fishes are confined along the banks, in a two or three metres width. The estimation by hectare concerns really the stock of an area measuring only 25 % of the total area. The controled fishes are mostly breeding fishes. Article available at
