Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and toxicity of the association of mitoxantrone and oral etoposide. Methods: Twelve consecutive patients with metastatic hormone-refractory prostate cancer were treated with mitoxantrone and oral etoposide. Toxicity, response rate and response duration were assessed.
