From all of these approaches, neither holistic, systemic, and systematic approach based on comprehensive pedagogical foundations, nor strong local wisdom concept has been adopted in school management practices. The purpose of this article is to describe a school management model based on balinese local wisdom and culture in order to build character, culture, and harmony in the school. Some principles and concepts of balinese local wisdom and culture was proposed to serve as the foundation of school management model.
