The analysis of climatic elements (1949-1999) of the area of Cacak has indicated an increasing trend of the air temperature and, decreasing one of rainfall. Water deficit in the soil and, consequently, the appearance of drought, could be assumed. However, water balancing of the area over a longer period of time has enabled a fuller defining of drought.
