The aim of this paper is to analyze of evolution of show programs in the world dancing art and international show business. At the same time a known quantity of approaches to the global and national development of dancing show programs were added and deepened. Research methodology. Studying dancing shows in Ukraine and abroad represents quite challenging research perspective, the analysis of which is implemented through the use of multidisciplinary approach, in particular, the attraction of methodological tools of the choreology (the method of writing down the signs and characters that indicate movements in dance), culture-and art criticism, the theory of culture and cultural history, theater and esthetics as well. Results. The article deals with the general features of evolution of the adapted for the stage show programs. They are directly connected with the synthesis of theater, are written by the musician and put on the stage by the director. The adapted for the stage show programs are one of types of cultural work and activities the theatrical eff ects of which are characterized by light, music, suits, etc. The author off ers the typology of show programs and determines the place of dance performances in it. At the same time show programs or fancy-dress entertainment programs have the thematic scenario course. It is probable that in the future dancing show programs will be to a large extent focused on the media environment, including on more spectacular, interesting acrobatic and circus tricks, computer special eff ects in the visual plan. Novelty. An attempt is made in this paper to show the new facts concerning studying dancing show programs in the scientifi c literature of Ukraine and abroad. The practical signifi cance. Ukrainian scholars may fi nd the information contained in this article useful for developing new concepts of the adapted for the stage show programs in the future.
