ECO-FRIENDLY INHIBITORS BY MORINGA OLEIFERA LEAVES EXTRACT ON THE CORROSION OF CARBON STEEL IN 1M HYDROCHLORIC ACID
2020
Green corrosion inhibitors are biodegradable. Some research groups have reported the successful use of natural substances to inhibit the corrosion of metals in acidic and alkaline environments. Among the various green inhibitors, plant extracts are becoming increasingly popular. In this study, the inhibition and adsorption properties of Moringa oleifera (MO) leaf extract as corrosion inhibitors of XC70 carbon steel in 1M HCl were investigated using the weight loss method to monitor corrosion.
