Moulvibazar district has been recognized as one of the biodiversity rich pockets close to the boundary side of Assam of India and situated in the North-eastern part of Bangladesh. Adompur reserve forest is one of the biodiversity hotspot in the North-eastern. The current article confirm, the presence of Kaniska canace Linnaeus, 1763, (Nymphalidae: Lepidoptera) which was not previously recorded in Bangladesh.
