154 diluted with water to an ounce and a half, were injected into the median cephalic vein, but no improvement was manifested, and the patient died at 7.50 P.M. The temperature of the water as it entered the coil was about 40°; after passing through the coil it varied from 70° to 59°, the greatest difference between that in the pan above and that in the pan bplow being 27°. Auto_psy, seventeen hours after death.-There was much postmortem lividity, and numerous petechial spots were visible.
