Multilevel Inverters can produce a high-power, high-voltage inverter with multilevel structure the way in which device voltage stresses are controlled. A symmetrical standard cascaded multilevel inverter requires 'n' DC sources for '2n+1' levels which needs isolated DC sources for power conversions.
