Photoluminescence Properties of Polyphenylenediamine Doped with TiO2 Nanoparticles
2018
Asian Journal of Chemistry
A series of poly(o-phenylenediamine) doped with TiO2 nanoparticles were synthesized by chemical oxidative polymerization method using ferric chloride as an oxidant. The structural, morphological and optical properties were investigated by transmission electron microscope (TEM), FTIR, UV-visible, photoluminescence spectroscopies. It was found that the photoluminescence spectra of polymer nanocomposites emit radiation at 540 nm which corresponds to the emission of green light. The polymer and its
