The research is focused on meeting the demands of scientists, teachers of higher education institutions and teachers who are not indifferent to the problems of educational development. The scientific novelty of the study is that the author for the first time gives an interpretation of the concept of educational project, gives a classification of projects and reveals their role in the educational process, in particular, in the development of abilities for research and creative activities.
