The research aimed to test whether strategic planning and entrepreneurial thought with its dimensions: (innovation, risk-taking and proactiveness) together lead to increase and improve performance in public banks in Alexandria (under application). The researcher used the questionnaire as a data collection tool. The research reached several recommendations, the most important of which are: • Taking advantage of strategic planning to encourage leadership, better determination to cooperate, strategic alternatives and considering strategic planning as basis for survival in the business environment. • The senior management should be more active in adopting strategic planning and entrepreneurial thought in order to achieve organizational goals which in turn facilitate the growth and development of organizations. • The need to make efforts towards entrepreneurship while benefiting from them in advancing the comprehensive development of society, as well as the need to foster the entrepreneurship culture.
