The goal of this research work is to develop a user-friendly software that is capable of estimating the thermal comfort of a human working in the open air. Several numerical approaches were considered in the literature. The computational time and the complexity of those computational methods make it usable by professionals only. The developed computer software under this work can be used by low ranking field managers, who may not be computer experts, operating in the field where the workers are

A method has been developed here to evaluate the MRT. It is suitable for indoor as well as outdoor applications. Weather and solar data are expected to be available for the outdoor applications. It can either be actively measured at the actual site under consideration, or calculated from the available data documented for numerous sites around the world.
