In this paper, we focus on extended numerical methods for solving fuzzy nonlinear equations. An extension of false position method into fuzzy setting is proposed for solving such equations and it will be referred to as fuzzy false position method. An algorithm for this process of solving will be provided. For the purpose of optimization, genetic algorithm will also be incorporated in order to find the best solution for the problem under consideration. Two numerical examples with graphical
