This paper proposes a novel 'bottom-up' object-oriented approach for automated model checking and the corresponding plugin prototype. The approach and the prototype enable four key processes: (i) define and interpret the requirement rules, (ii) prepare the BIM object data, (iii) execute the requirement rules, and (iv) report the results that were made available to the user.
