Preeclampsia is a condition of hypertension in which blood pressure for systolic/diastolic ≥ 140/90 mmHg occuring after 20 weeks of pregnancy and accompanied by proteinuria ≥ + 1 and generalized edema. This situation may enhance morbidity and mortality in neonates. The highest cause of death in the neonatal age group 0-7 days are prematur babies and Low Birth Weight (LBW) by 35% and infants born with asphyxia by 33,6%.
