This intelectual biography of Felipe González Vicén analyzes the thinking of one of the most important Spanish philosophers of Law in the 20th century: his origins, when he studied the concept of revolution and wrote a history of Spanish legal thought, the events that he experienced during the civil war, the subsequent exile and his return, and the analysis of the core of his thought: the opposition Natural Law/legal positivism, historicism and Marxism. It also analyzes the controversies that he caused, on the concept of Philosophy of Law and on the obedience of the Law.
