ENGINEE lWiG INVENTIONS. A furnace front for boilers has been patented by Mr. James C. Shnler,ot St. Joseph, Mich. The invention consists of a hollow furnace front sup. porting the front end of the boiler, and connected with its interior by pipes or other suitable means, to prevent waste of heat and serve as a feed water heater.
