Decontamination of clean rooms and air treatment systems does not occur anymore in the pharmaceutical industry with formaldehyde, but with hydrogen peroxide or hydrogen peroxide plus adjuvants. Monitoring systems for biocide generation occurs through specific sensors tolerating these concentrated gases.
