This paper inquires and explicates the concept of perspective discussed in Nishida Kitaro's Problems of Consciousness (1920). Firstly, we problematize Nishida's consideration on individuality and their relationship his theory after 1933 and approach the significance of Problems of Consciousness. Then, we elucidate the concept of perspective in that text as the field of modifiability as "place" or "predicative surface [述語面]".
