This study presents an extensive set of vehicle-based measurements of methane and other compounds to investigate methane emissions in Utrecht, NL and Hamburg, DE. The authors used empirical equation developed von Fischer et al. (2017) and updated by Weller et al. ( 2019) to estimate the emissions from the natural gas distribution network using the methane enhancements they observed during their surveys.
