This study reports our experience with 84 patients with iatrogenic bile duct injury who underwent biliary reconstruction in our hospital in last 5 yrs. Magnetic Resonance Cholangio-pancreaticography was the optimal pre operative diagnostic procedure to define the stricture. Most patients underwent hepaticojejunostomy with or without stent. Morbidity and mortality rates were 25.33% and 6.14% respectively. The results of operative repair were correlated with number of previous operations, site of
