ARTICLE INFO Abstract Collaborative teaching is a powerful strategy that leads students to an effective and deep learning and to attain successful academic achievements. This review is centered on providing evidences on the efficacy of collaborative learning techniques for the teaching of physiology, including mainly their impact on learning and the academic achievement of students.
