A simple, very specific, and reliable HPLC method has been developed and validated for the determination of naproxen sodium (NS) in poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) (50:50) scaffolds. Efficient chromatographic separation was achieved on a reverse phase column (ODS2 C18 200x4.6mm) with the mobile phase consisted of methanol and acetate buffer (pH 5.1) (55:45 v/v) at a flow rate of 1 mL.min-1 by using fluorescence detector at 254 nm ex/ 352 nm em wavelength.
