Metacognitive Thinking Skills and its Relation to Future Anxiety of Al-Balqaa Applied University Students This study aimed to identify the level of Metacognitive thinking skills, and to identify the level of future anxiety of Al-Balqa Applied University students. To achieve the objectives of the study was the development of two measures to investigate the Metacognitive thinking skills and future anxiety for the study sample, and after verifying the validity and reliability of the two measures have been applied to all the study sample, and in order to answer questions about the study was a set of descriptive and correlative statistical analyzes, such as averages and standard deviations. Results of the study have indicated in the first asked to knowledge processing has received in response to a high degree in the level of Metacognitive thinking skills, while followed by the first dimension: the organization of knowledge and came in the final the second dimension: knowing moderately defined, as results of the future anxiety level for the University of Balqa students was moderately. The results also showed the existence of an inverse correlation statistically significant between each of the Metacognitive thinking skills and Future Anxiety. Has been to provide a set of recommendations include the need to create awareness programs specialized students to be directed towards the acquiring of Metacognitive thinking skills, and holding specialized courses and publications and lectures to help students cope with the fears that haunt them, which relate to the future, and direct them towards the way of common sense in dealing with these fears and overcome them to avoid the anxiety that who feel as a result of her, and that affects academic careers.
