The REPARATOR study is a multicentre clinical trial in which the effect of 80 mg atorvastatin on microvascular (re)perfusion and late ventricular remodelling, and infarct size in patients presenting with an acute ST-elevation myocardial infarction is studied. Primary endpoint is end-systolic volume index at three months measured by quantitative cine magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
