THE EFFECT OF A COMBINATION OF NANO FERTILIZER AND BIO-FERTILIZER IN SOME GROWTH INDICATORS OF TWO VARIETIES OF FENUGREEK PLANT (TRIGONELLA FOENUM-GRAECUM L.)

A field experiment was conducted in accordance with Completely Random Block Design (CRBD) and three repeaters at the University of Baghdad/ College of of Education for Pure Sciences (Ibn Al-Haitham) during 2020-2021 to evaluate the effect of NPK nano-fertilizer with four concentrations (0, 0.5, 0.7, 1 ml.L-1). more » ... th two varieties of fenugreek plant (Indian and local). The results showed that the addition of the nano fertilizer treatment mixture exceeded the concentration of 0.75 ml.L-1 and a combination of bio-fertilizer 109 C.F.U gm-1 dry soil with the fenugreek plant Indian vareity significantally in the characteristic of height (64.500 cm) compared to the control treatment (i.e. without addition). The treatment of the addition of the nanofertilizer mixture at the concentration of 0.75 ml.L-1 and the combination of biofertilizer 109 C.F.U gm-1 dry soil with the fenugreek plant (local) significantally increased the total number of pods, protein (47.330 pods. plant-1, 755.730 mg.plant-1) respectively compared to the treatment of control. The treatment of adding a nano fertilizer mixture is also superior at a concentration of 0.75 ml. L-1 and a combination of bio-fertilizer 107 C.F.U gm-1 dry soil with the (local) variety of fenugreek plant in the of total yield characteristic (1929.000 kg.ha-1) compared to the control treatment.
