Purpose: In this research, nanocomposite of Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) reinforced with Silicon Carbide (SiC) nanoparticles was prepared and characterized in terms of chemical interaction, molecular structure, tensile strength, and dispersion state of nanoparticles in the UHMWPE matrix.
