This research paper aims to illustrate juristic ruling and medical opinion on a new occurrence, that is, non-surgical removal of facial wrinkles, adopting an inductive, descriptive methodology. It opens with an introduction containing the significance and objectives of the study, a statement of the problem and a review of respective literature. The study is thus divided into four sections, beginning with a definition of non-surgical removal of facial wrinkles, reasons and wisdom behind removal of it, and an illustration of relevant terms. This is followed by a section addressing the methods of non-surgical removal of facial wrinkles, while the third section engages juristic categorization of the types of wrinkle treatment. The fourth section discusses the juristic ruling on non-surgical removal of facial wrinkles, followed by a conclusion containing the key findings and recommendations. Then followed is a list of resources. Among the key findings is that the preponderant opinion states that non-surgical removal of facial wrinkles through injection (of fillers) is permissible in case medical treatment is driven by a medical need, not entailing greater harm than the presence of wrinkles.
