THE EFFECTS OF PERCEIVED LEADERSHIP STYLE ON EMPLOYEE MOTIVATION: A COMPARATIVE STUDY BETWEEN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTORS IN OMAN

This study explores the relationship between leadership style and employee motivation in the public and private sectors in Oman. The public sector is represented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, whilst the private sectors are represented by Oman Cable and Bahwan Automotive Group. The results reveal a statistically significant relationship between motivation and classical, transactional, and organic leadership styles, and lack of significant relationship between visionary leadership style and employee motivation.
