It has long been the practice of good stockmen to feed their animals 'a little and often'. This paper describes how this belief has been tested experimentally. EXPERIMENTAL Twenty-two Cheviot ewe hoggs were paired and divided into two equal groups which were comparable in age, body-weight and previous history.
