Uplink Dimensioning Over Log-Normal Shadowing for OMA and NOMA Schemes

This paper investigates the uplink dimensioning problem for OMA (Orthogonal Multiple Access) and NOMA (Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access) schemes. Dimensioning is to make radio resource provision for a service area to fulfill an outage constraint. The radio resource limit and outage in dimensioning make classical inhomogeneous Poisson assumption of uplink served user point process questionable.
