The article analyzes statistical data revealing the state of crime in the field of informatization andcommunications in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the period from 2018 to 2021. Based on the analysis of the data obtained, aconclusion was made about the effectiveness of activities for the prevention of certain types of crimes in thisarea, but a negative trend in the prevention and suppression of Internet fraud was revealed. In this regard, it is proposed to strengthen measures to improve the activities of law enforcement agencies and the judicialsystem in combating crime in the field of informatization and communications.
